Gabby Munoz

Global Head of M&A and Venture Investments

Gabby Munoz is Global Head of M&A and Venture Investments for Fitch Group, where she leads the firm’s inorganic growth strategy, including the sourcing and execution of acquisitions, strategic investments, and venture activity.

Prior to joining Fitch Group, Gabby spent twelve years at Hearst in senior strategy and capital allocation roles, partnering across the company’s 360+ brands and businesses to drive acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and organic growth initiatives.

During her tenure at Hearst, she served as Senior Vice President of M&A and Strategic Investments for the company’s e-commerce division, Managing Director of Hearst Ventures, Vice President of Strategy and Operations for Hearst Newspapers, and Vice President of Special Projects and M&A within Hearst’s corporate finance group.

Gabby began her career as an investment banking analyst in the Media & Telecommunications Group at Merrill Lynch and later joined global growth equity firm General Atlantic, where she focused on consumer, media, and technology investments. She subsequently moved into an operating role, leading the customer insights division at Rent the Runway as an early employee during a period of rapid growth.

Gabby holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Michal Edelman

Senior Director, Fitch Ventures

Michal Edelman is the Senior Director of Ventures for Fitch Group where she focuses on early-stage and growth investing and strategic partnerships on behalf of the firm.

Prior to Fitch, Michal was an investor at Amex Ventures, where she focused on fintech, commerce, and emerging technologies, and helped drive collaboration and strategic partnerships between portfolio companies and American Express business units. She began her career in investment banking in the Consumer Retail Group at Barclays and later worked in business development and consulting at Traub.

Michal holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics and Social History from Barnard College.

Sanjana Kondapalli

Senior Analyst, Fitch Ventures

Sanjana Kondapalli is a Senior Analyst in M&A and Ventures at Fitch Group, where she focuses on evaluating strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships to support the firm’s growth initiatives.

Prior to Fitch, Sanjana was an Investment Banking Analyst at Citi in the Financial Institutions Group. Sanjana holds a BS in Finance from The University of South Carolina.
